Fuck maintenance costs. This is among the last of the high-revving NA M cars. If I have to get a $6k transmission fixed every once and a while to own it (or whatever maintenance issues there are), then so be it.

Would never buy one with more then 20-24k miles. Anything with 10-18k miles for $40-45k (a bit more then the cost of a decently optioned 320i) is a good deal to me

They also don't weight that much more. That v10 though, hrrrrng. I thought about it too, but I just feel better in the cacoon of my e92. Once they're in the 15s they'll make a good beater though.
